Mein Name ist Tommi We und ich fotografiere seit 2010. Auf dieser Seite möchte ich euch einen Einblick in meine Fotoarbeit zeigen. Zuvor aber kurz eine Vorstellung von mir:

 

 

My Name is Tommi We an I've been photographing since 2010. On this site I would  like to deliver a little insight into my photo work. But first let me introduce myself to you.

 

 

--> Was bedeutet für mich die Fotografie?

Für mich ist es nicht nur ein Hobby, es ist etwas Einzigartiges in meinem Leben, was mich positiv verändert hat. Jedes Shooting und jeden Ort den ich entdecke ist wie ein  Abenteuer. Man lernt interessante Menschen kennen und lernt Ihre wahre Seite kennen. Die Fotografie hat mein Leben verändert, sie hat mich selbstbewusster gemacht und kreativer. Ich weiß ich bin nicht der beste Fotograf, aber das will ich auch nicht sein, mir ist es wichtig euch hier meine Art von Kunst darzustellen. Viele fragen mich wofür steht eigentlich das "we" bei Tommi We? Um ein gutes Bild hinzubekommen braucht man nicht nur eine gute Kamera und einen Fotografen nein man braucht auch ein Model was einem blind vertraut und einfach Spaß am shooten hat. Das "we" steht also für "wir" ,denn nur gemeinsam kann man solche tollen Bilder hinbekommen

 

 

--> What does photography mean to me?

It's not just a hobby but something unique in my life that has changed me in a positive way. Every shooting and every place I discover feels like an adventure. You get to know a lot of interesting people and learn something about their true self. Photography has changed my life. It made me much more self confident and more creative than before. I know that I might not be the best photographer in the world but actually this is not my goal. It's more important for me to show you my way of art. A lot of people ask me what the "we" at the end of my name "Tommy We" means. You don't just need a good camera or a good photographer to get a good picture . You also need a model who trusts you a lot and has a lot of fun while shooting. "We" represents those things. Because only teamwork can create such beautiful pictures.

Einen wahren Künstler erkennt man daran, das er aus kleinen Dingen ein großes Meisterwerk machen kann.

A true artist is a person, who is apable of creating a masterpiece out of the small things around him.
